Our Purpose
The New Mexico Health Care Association / New Mexico Center for Assisted Living (NMHCA / NMCAL) is a professional trade association for facility-based long-term care providers.

Our Mission
Our mission is to support our members, and to promote individual quality of life for the people they serve through:
- Gaining public recognition of services available by long-term care providers
- Professional development and education of long-term care providers
- Representing our members in legislative and regulatory areas
- Support and implementation of best practices and consistent quality standards
