Assisted Living Facilities
You are eligible for membership in NMHCA/NMCAL if you are a provider of facility-based services for seniors or disabled individuals within the State of New Mexico and you have met the requirements for state licensure, if required.
WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER?
By becoming an assisted living facility member of NMCAL, you become an integral part of a winning team. As a whole, we seek to educate and influence public policymakers to create an environment where facilities can provide the highest quality of care and help improve the lives of the frail elderly individuals we serve.
Association staff actively monitors changes and provides timely updates to members on issues, and the Assisted Living Task Force helps ensure that the unique needs of the assisted living community are in the forefront of our efforts.
Your membership in New Mexico's only professional association for Assisted Living Providers includes:
- Representation. Our professional staff and lobbyists ensure that our members’ interests are well represented to legislators at both the state and federal level, as well as to government agencies involved in regulation.
- Networking. Our members are provided numerous opportunities to share ideas and concerns with their peers.
- Education. Our members receive discounts for all workshops, conventions, and online courses, and from the AHCA/NCAL online bookstore. Members also have access to AHCA/NCAL Bookstore and ahcancalED, the national online education center. As an added benefit, members may purchase a subscription service to NMHCA/NMCAL sponsored online courses and webinars. This offers significant savings over the individual price.
- Information. Our members keep up to date on the latest news through our website, weekly newsletter, The Bulletin, and e-mail notices.
