NMHCA offers continuing education hours for many long term care
disciplines. Please check the individual courses for CE hours and
discipline approval.
Courses taken outside of NMHCA may or may not be approved for certain
disciplines. The NM Health Care Association is recognized by the NM
Nursing Home Administrators’ Board as a provider of continuing education
and is approved as the Continuing Education review agent.
The NM Department of Health recognizes NMHCA as an
initial provider of qualification training for Activity Professionals in
New Mexico and the approval body for Activity Director continuing
education contact hours.
Any course taken that is not
pre-approved for either discipline can be submitted to NMHCA for review.
Please complete the appropriate application and submit with all required
information and fees.
